April's TNT Meeting

Tuesday's Tips & Techniques (TNT)
A Monthly Creative Book Club

April's meeting is scheduled for April 10, from 7 - 9pm at Ever After Scrapbook Store

Cost: $15

In April, we will continue reviewing "A-Z Techniques" by Pinecone Press. This book covers all types of cool techniques for paper crafters, so I filled the April class kits with products to encourage you to try something new.

For this month’s club display, I used the “template” technique described in our book. Since we have been using chipboard lately, I used the negative spaces from the Fancy Pants chipboard included in the class kit as a template.

We are an intimate, friendly club who welcomes all scrappers and crafters. Even if you've never been to one of our meetings, you'll leave feeling like you belong and knowing you've made some new friends.

Greeting Cards - Quilling

Small scale projects are some of the benefits of being card crafters. It is so satisfying to learn a new technique, then be able to apply that new technique to quickly complete a project. If you are also a scrapbooker, you can also apply some of those new techniques to your scrapbook pages.

January's greeting card class will introduce you to the technique of quilling. You will learn how to quill, how to texture paper, and how to make the shapes used on these two adorable greeting cards, which are perfect for your Valentine or Sweetheart.

Please bring wet adhesive and a quilling tool with you to class.

Location: Michael's - Escondido
Date: January 21, 2007, 1 - 3pm
Class Fee: $12
