Mini Brag Book Blowout

Basic Grey Matchbook Mini Album

Linda's Brag Book Design

Paper Bag Album

Make three adorable mini brag books in 2 hours. Don’t believe it’s possible? Join me as I guide you through creating and embellishing a matchbook mini album from Basic Grey’s “Gypsy” or “Lilykate” paper, a paper bag album adorned with that wonderful new Prismatics textured cardstock, and a fun little album I designed with the new Bohemia paper.

Learn all three styles and later, make more of your favorites to give as holiday gifts. This is going to be one busy, fun-filled two hour event so be ready to get your hands dirty. All experience levels are invited, however true beginners may want to start with a slower paced class, like the Paper Bag Album class also offered this month.

Bookworks Gift Calendar

It’s not too early to start working on those special hand-crafted gifts for the holidays. EK Success’ Bookworks spiral-bound album products, formatted as an adorable gift calendar and date keeper, is a great way to share your favorite photos while keeping track of important birthdates, anniversaries and other special dates. And with all the cute embellishments available from EK Success, each gift calendar you make will be unique.

In addition to the Bookworks products, we will also use distressing inks, stippling techniques, and of course, a few hand-altered die cuts to complete the calendar. All experience levels are invited to participate.

(Yes, I said doodling, one of the hottest and most affordable techniques in the industry). All experience levels are invited.

In addition to the standard kit, please bring to class your favorite distressing ink or chalk, an eyelet setting tool and a crafters sanding block (such as that made by Lasting Impressions) or fine grit sand paper (such as that made by Heidi Swapp).

Altered Journal

Altered Journal. Cathy Zielske’s Clean & Simple, the Sequel, encouraged me to start keeping a journal. But I didn’t want just any old journal. I wanted one that reflected my personality. I altered an old fashion composition book and now use it regularly to journal my thoughts and ideas.

In the Altered Journal class, you will learn decoupage techniques and transform a composition book into your personal journal, ready to become a part of your everyday life. In addition to decoupage, we will also cover distressing techniques, methods for mounting ribbons and embellishments to decoupaged surfaces, and eyelet setting using the newest (and my current favorite) tool; the Crop-A-Dile. All experience levels are invited.

Please bring a paper trimmer, scissors, distressing ink and strong double-stick tape (such as "Terrifically Tacky" tape) with you to class. You may also want to bring brads, eyelets, buttons, ribbons and other embellishments to further personalize your treasured journal.

Recommended for all experience levels.
